Editing the Index
After creating an index, you can use the Index Editor to modify, delete, or add index entries for pages in the index.
To open the Index Editor, you can either:
Select Edit Index from the Tracker menu, or
Click the Edit Index button on the Tracker Tool Palette.
Each page in the index must have a unique primary entry (shown in the upper right window of the Index Editor). It can then have additional entries that need not be unique. All entries will appear alphabetically in the index.
To edit index entries:
Select a page name or primary index entry from one of the two lists at the top of the editor.
Edit or add to the index list in the field to the bottom right of the screen. Separate entries by a hard return.
Entries are updated when you leave the bottom right field, but are not permanently saved until you select the "Save" button.
To remove a page from the Index, select the page name and delete all of its index entries from the lower right field. Note: Pages that have either the skipNavigation property or the skipBookmarkPage property set to true are not included in the initial index.
To view the page associated with the current selection, click the "Go To Page" button.
