TBK Tracker System Files

The following are author-level only files that are not to be distributed under any circumstances.

     

tbkdev3.sbk

Developer system book. It resides in the sysToolbookDirectory.

 

tbkTracker3DeveloperHelp.hlp

tbkTracker3DeveloperHelp.cnt

Developer help files. They reside in the sysToolbookDirectory.

 

 

tbkTrack3.wbk

Author level catalog file. It resides in the catalog directory. The location of this directory varies. It is typically the \catalog directory beneath the development ToolBook directory.

 

The ToolBook 8 version also includes the following files:

  • TBK Tracker Lesson Objs.wbx

  • TBK Tracker Lesson Objs.ini

  • TBK Tracker Front End Objs.wbx

  • TBK Tracker Front End Objs.ini

 

The following files are used in both authoring AND runtime and can be distributed. They all reside in the sysToolbookDirectory.

 

tbktrack3.sbk

Main system book.

 

tbktres3.sbk

Resource system book.

 

tbkTrackerUserHelp.hlp

tbkTrackerUserHelp.cnt

TBK Tracker end-user help files.

 

 

tbksettg3.ini

TBK Tracker initialization file.

 

Note: When installing your final application you should add your application's information to this file and NOT overwrite any existing tbksettg3.ini file.

 

 

tbkUserDataBlank.dat

Empty structured database used for exporting student data.

 

tbinet32.dll

The ToolBook 8 (or later) version of tbinet32.dll is required if you are using the ASP provider option or if you want to provide the Post functionality from the Student Information screen. ToolBook 7 developers must copy the ToolBook 8 (or later) version of the file tbinet32.dll to the ToolBook runtime directory.
 

tbkAdmin3.exe

tbkTrackAdmin.ini

The TBK Tracker Administrator and its initialization file. The Administrator is a Visual Basic executable with associated help and runtime files. These files must be installed as part of the entire Administrator installation

 

tbkReport3.exe

tbkTrackReporter.ini

The TBK Tracker Reporter and its initialization file. This is a Visual Basic executable with associated help and runtime files. These files must be installed as part of the entire Reporter installation.
