New features of version 9.5:

  • PowerPoint Import:  Take your existing PowerPoint 2007 slides and import the bulk of your content and graphics into ToolBook. You can even save the intermediate XML version of the content. 
  • Apple iPhone/iPod Touch/Safari Browser Support>  Your web-based ToolBook content can now support the Macintosh as well as the iPhone and iPod Touch. They are all just extra choices in your web export. There also specialized SmartStyles™ for the iPod layout.
  • PNG Graphic Support:  Instructor now supports PNG files, which give great quality for both native and web-deployed content. The PNG's transparency is fully supported within ToolBook.
  • Voice Recordings:  Easily record your narrations within ToolBook and then have them played when entering a page with no configuration or programming whatsoever.
  • XML Support:  More advanced developers can create their own XML Book representations from databases or other tools and then use ToolBook to convert them to complete ToolBook books.
  • Certificates:  Easily use or customize the complete certificates provided with ToolBook or use the separate building blocks also included to create your own custom certificates. Either way, ToolBook takes care of getting the student name, the test score, and more.
  • Enhanced Right-Click Menu:  The new right-click menu has graphical icons and a more intuitive interface to improve your ability to quickly access information and set properties.
